Ressurection Sunday!

A week ago Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey.
Palm branches were thrown down and Jesus was praised as King.
"Hosannas" echoed through the city walls and the sound of laughter and joy were heard.

By Friday all sounds of joy had faded. The vote the people cast for Jesus as their King was seen as mistake as now the voices cried "crucify, crucify!"
It was too risky following such a leader, a leader who broke Sabbath laws, who said such heritical things...
So the people continued to follow the king which they had attempted to follow for so long, The Law.

So Jesus died and so the people felt justice was served. Law was still king.
So Friday ended with tears, confusion, and false validation...

Because when the Sunday morning sun rose over the garden, the stone was rolled away, our Savior is now alive, Resurrection has come.
And the One who we all thought was a law breaker, was revealed as The Law Maker.
The law was fulfilled and Jesus now reigns as the true King.

When Resurrection Sunday came, so did Life, so did Freedom, so did a New Order.
And that Order was Love. That Order is Jesus Christ!

Jesus is risen. He is risen indeed.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!
